Abstract
At its 150th anniversary, the year 2019 has been proclaimed as the ‘Year of the Periodic Table’ by the United Nations General Assembly. So, I have decided to break the Guinness World Record set by Dr. Vilas Pol’s at Purdue University, USA in August 2018 by arranging all the elements of the periodic table in 8 minutes and 36 seconds. I had modified his technique to break this record in 3 minutes and 15 seconds. The event was organized at the GE Lab 2 (P4907), Yeung (AC-1), City University of Hong Kong on 3rd May 2019 with the help of the department of Materials Science and Engineering. The event was attended by two honorable witnesses (Prof. Chan Hung SHEK; Dr. Tommy Y. Lo), two timekeepers (Ms. Ho Shu Lan Sara; Ms. Lok Tung Yim), master of ceremony (Dr. Jonathan C. Y. Chung), three camera men, and the audience.
