Abstract
Multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) junctions are fabricated in three-dimensional space by positioning MWNTs with nanorobotic manipulators, connecting them together with van der Waals forces, and/or fixing them with electron-beam-induced deposition (EBID) or chemical bonding them through mechanochemical nanorobotic assembly. Contact state, connection force/strength, and bonding types of the junctions are investigated through nanorobotic manipulations.
