Abstract
This article discusses ethnic and feminist academic autobiographies to unveil the processes by which women in the academy engage their lives and professions. Focusing on Shirley Lim's Among the White Moon Faces and Marianna Torgovnick's Crossing Ocean Parkway, the essay explores the ways these women articulate how they have dealt with issues such as ethnicity, class, and profession.
