Enhancement of Fiber-to-Waveguide Coupling Efficiency of Silicon Nitride Integrated Optical Circuits

Abstract

A hybrid approach for the enhancement of the fiber-to-silicon nitride waveguide coupling efficiency is proposed. It shows the coupling efficiency of lower than 0.7 dB/facet across the C band can be achieved. © IEEE 2022.
