abstract = "In digital holography, it is necessary to identify the focal plane distances automatically for a hologram containing information of multiple object depth sections. This paper points out the 'Shading Effect' problem in traditional hologram autofocusing methods. To overcome this limitation, an enhanced autofocusing scheme based on hologram decomposition is proposed. The hologram is decomposed into sub-holograms and the focal plane distance is determined separately for each sub-object. Simulation results reveal that our proposed method has good accuracy and reliability.",
