Engineering education in China

    Abstract

    This paper discusses the rapid growth of the engineering education sector in China. Several examples will be presented on how engineers made significant contributions to the nation's economic development. Suggestions are made on enhancing the engineering curriculum and improving the overall quality of engineering graduates in terms of technical, communications and leadership skills.
