Abstract

video, screen, Internet connected art piece. Part of the MECHANICS OF EMOTIONS series of works, EMOTION FORECAST reflects on the notion of the Internet as the nervous system of the world. E-Forecast creates maps of 3200 cities emotions. It displays the emotional state of the planet and forecast the trend for the next 2 days. Resulting for the analysis of data from the web, EMOTION FORECAST present the emotions of cities as if it would be the financial stock market. On giant urban screens, the audience can discover the emotional state of the world today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.
