Abstract
Electroluminescence (EL) of some bis-naphthalimide compounds has been studied. The EL spectra show that the peak wavelength of EL is in excellent agreement with the energy of the charge separation states of these donor-acceptor bis-naphthalimide compounds. This indicates that EL of these donor-acceptor compounds is derived from the recombination for their respective charge separation states.
