Effect of moisture content on the high pressure microwave curing of a thermoset fiber reinforced composite

Abstract

A high moisture content within a microwave cured epoxy based composite was found to have lengthened the time taken for maximization of the glass transition temperature, and significantly increased the void percentage during the curing process.
