Abstract

Creativity, most people tend to assume, is inborn, mysterious, unanalyzable, and unteachable. Psychologists have been trying to understand this phenomenon for decades. The literature is overwhelmed with inconsistent theories and hypotheses. Lately, development in arti?cial intelligence has provided researchers with another means of analyzing the creative process. In this chapter, we review some of the work in this area and discuss some approaches for e-creativity.
