Abstract

We recorded the eye-movements of a 23-year-old dyslexic subject as he tried to read. He made frequent fixational pauses with many regressive movements and had a strong tendency to scan from right to left rather than in the correct direction. This confusion may explain his errors in the order of words and syllables when reading. © 1972.
