Dynamic behavior of vapor interface during nucleate boiling

Research output: Journal Publications and ReviewsRGC 21 - Publication in refereed journalpeer-review

Abstract

This paper briefly summarizes the recent research progress on the dynamic behavior of vapor bubbles during nucleate boiling, particularly on the visual exploration of novel interfacial dynamics of this complicated transport process. Works on single bubble dynamics, bubble interactions on heated surface, boiling in microchannel, boiling in porous medium, and the bubbles in a boiling suspension with nanoparticles were reviewed and discussed.
