Abstract
A dual-polarized elliptical dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with a simple slot-coupled feeding network is presented. Two coupling slots are arranged orthogonally to form a T-shaped configuration, providing high polarization isolation. By properly adjusting the slot positions, the cross-polarized fields are effectively suppressed. The elliptical DRA is designed to ensure identical resonant frequencies for both ports. Simulated results show that the proposed antenna achieves a polarization isolation of 40 dB and cross-polarization levels below -20 dB. © 2025 IEEE.
