Abstract
Stylus pen is often used in documentation for a touchscreen. However, little work has been focused on stylus features to improve usability; no work has examined the effect of the full-length of stylus in creating document. In this paper, we found the satisfaction and efficiency of various stylus lengths' in creating document. Our experiment had two tasks with five styluses (7, 9, 11, 13 and 15cm). Results showed that participants can write documents with 13cm or longer styluses compared to shorter lengths. Among them, participants preferred 13cm stylus. Therefore, we suggest a stylus optimal length in creating document. The results can support the most efficient and comfortable stylus in creating document. © 2011 AICIT.
