Abstract
The high temperature creep and fatigue behavior of the precipitate hardened ferritic Fe-19Cr-4Ni-2Al alloy were investigated. Results showed that nickel aluminide was formed upon the addition of nickel to Fe-Cr-Al alloys. The formation of these precipitates improved the mechanical properties of these Ni based superalloys at elevated temperatures.
