Abstract
Although used on a daily basis in BSL-3/4 laboratories, most laboratory staff generally know little about the ingredients of disinfection and decontamination agents. This chapter describes the homologation procedure used to validate these agents and gives a concise summary of the most common agents used. © 2014 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
