Abstract
A new methodology has been developed to covalently bond organic functional monolayer on ITO through electrochemically induced assembly of organophosphonic acids. These robust aromatic phosphonates can be deposited on ITO under typical electrochemical conditions at ambient temperature. © The Royal Society of Chemistry.
