Abstract

A strip-excited dielectric resonator antenna with a strip displacement is investigated theoretically and experimentally. The strip displacement provides another degree of freedom in the antenna design. Both the input impedance and radiation pattern of the new configuration are studied in this letter. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
