    Abstract

In this paper, the design of a microfluidic perfusion system for patch clamp recording is reported. The microfluidic perfusion system mainly consists of a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) chamber and a micro drug delivery pipette. The performance of the perfusion system was verified by conducting patch clamp recording of neuroblastoma cells. This system provides a method to precisely perform drug delivery without any disturbance of the seal condition.
