Abstract
Based on the analysis of spatial harmonics of periodically slotted structures, the formulas for determining the slot period of the leaky coaxial cables according to the desired frequency band are given. Methods of suppressing the higher-order harmonics for extending the frequency bandwidth are discussed. Diagrams for determining slot sizes and shapes according to the desired coupling loss are given.
