Abstract
The structure of {101̄1} deformation twins in commercially pure titanium processed by equal channel angular pressing was examined by high resolution electron microscopy in an attempt to explain the accommodation of shear strain imposed by the pressing. The results indicate that various twinning dislocations were activated to produce twins that accommodated the imposed shear strain.
