Abstract
Déjà vu is a kinetic artwork. Two panels form a diptych. The motif, a 3D scanned and recomposed landscape is printed on lenticular lenses. The lenses allow the refraction of light and change the content of the landscape according to the viewing angle. Within these refractive repetitions, we are left searching with distorted orientation finding new territories in the pixelated wilderness. The two panels are mounted on a motorized swivel mechanic. Déjà vu - a new digital Nature, articulates hybrid view on nature. Déjà vu is direct and dense, without vistas - unapologetic, non-hierarchical, and not subservient.
