Abstract
The crosspolarisation characteristics of coaxially fed microstrip patch antennas are studied using the cavity model. Numerical results showing the variation of crosspolarisation level for different feed positions, substrate thicknesses, substrate permittivities and resonance frequencies are given when the antenna is excited in the TM11 mode.
