    Abstract

This paper presents a controller synthesis method for fuzzy dynamic systems based on a piecewise smooth Lyapunov function. It is shown that the global stability of the closed loop fuzzy control systems can be established, and the control laws can be obtained by solving a set of Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI).
