Continuous four-roll plate bending process: Its bending mechanism and influential parameters

This paper discusses the working principle and relevant mechanism of the continuous four-roll bending process. Also, effect of its influential parameters, such as : the operating position of the side roll, the counter-bending moment due to the outstretching plate before inletting to and after exiting from the respective operative side roll, etc., on the bending mechanism and the curvature of the plate in the effective deformation zone are propounded. © 1994.
