Abstract

This chapter reviews the key ideas that emerged in the previous ten chapters and summarises emerging trends for future research. The key ideas include evolving definitions of (cyber)bullying and aggression, cultural factors, and intervention and prevention programs in school and family settings. These authors have suggested that all parties work together to prevent and reduce (cyber)bullying and aggression. Digital prevention and interventions are promising in the school setting. In future research, scholars are encouraged to explore whether people in the cyber world can overcome cultural barriers, distinguish between the subtypes of aggressive behaviours, and explore the effectiveness of the strategies discussed in this book for intervention and prevention programs. © 2024 selection and editorial matter, Annis Lai Chu FUNG; individual chapters, the contributors.
