Abstract
There are a lot of risk factors need to be considered in tendering in the construction industry. Examples are a) The market conditions: the degree of competition, the prevailing and the predicted supply of work, etc., b) The current workload of the contractor himself, c) Possible changes in regulations including safety, environmental control and technical matters, d) Labor supply, e) Materials supply, f) Currency fluctuation, g) Inflation, h) Project risks.
