Abstract

A compact dual-mode bandpass filter (BPF) using equilateral triangular slotted-patch resonator is proposed, which has the advantages of compact size, low insertion loss, and good passband selectivity because of two transmission zeros located at the low and high stopband. A demonstration BPF is optimized, fabricated, and tested. The simulated and measured results are presented and show good agreements. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
