Abstract
This paper presents a dual-band antenna design for IEEE 802.11ac (5G Wi-Fi). This single port antenna performs the characteristics of broadside radiation, low profile, simple structure and low cost. It covers the two ISM Bands of IEEE 802.11ac, which are from 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz and from 5.725 GHz to 5.875 GHz. The gains are 5dBi at ISM 2.4 GHz and 8dBi at ISM 5.8 GHz. The antenna also has high efficiencies and low in both cross polarized and back radiations for both bands, and the corresponding performances are over 90%, -20 dB and -15 dB respectively.
