Abstract

(μ-2,3-R¹,R²-But-2-en-4-olide-4-ylidene) (μ₂-1′,1′-R³, R⁴-ethene- 2′-ylidene) dicobalt hexacarbonyl (Co-Co) compounds were prepared from the corresponding (μ-₂-2,3-R¹,R²-but-2-en-4- olide-4-ylidene) (μ₂-CO)Co₂(CO)₆ compounds and mono- or di-haloacetylenes and characterized by X-ray diffraction and spectra.
