Comparatively, family has been proved as the most important and profound socialization agent influential on various aspects of youth development, and, the other hand, Christianity is the only religion among the world organized faiths that has vividly provided standards, norms and rules for family socialization beneficially contributive to positive youth development. In this presentation, Christian values, teachings and beliefs related to family socialization, parental roles and duties in contribution to youth development are discussed, in which the explored relationships between faith, family and youth development are supported with empirical data within the lens of social science methods. Implications of the presentation pertinent to contemporary society, family and youth future are also addressed.
