Abstract
The input impedance of the cavity-backed slot-coupled dielectric resonator antenna excited by a slender strip was investigated. The effect of the cavity size and strip length was studied on the input impedance. Integrations involving the cavity Green's functions were performed analytically. The measured and calculated maximum return losses were observed at 3.56 and 3.53 GHz.
