Abstract
A compact Wilkinson power divider with harmonic suppression is investigated. The size reduction is achieved by attaching two lumped capacitors in the middle of the two quarter-wavelength branches of the conventional one. Also, the harmonic suppression is realized as a result of the capacitive loading. Centered at 1.5 GHz, a demonstrator power divider is designed and confirmed by experiments. A size reduction of 48% and nth harmonic suppression are obtained as comparing with the conventional one. Both simulations and measurements are presented, and a good performance is observed. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
