Abstract

We demonstrate a broadband mode router based on integrating a 3D thermo-optic Mach-Zehnder interferometer and a 3D mode demultiplexer. The device can dynamically route four spatial modes of a few-mode waveguide into four single-mode waveguides.

Research Area(s)

  • Integrated optics devices, Optical switching devices, Polymer waveguides
