Abstract
Offset aperture-coupled dual-patch microstrip antennas with rectangular or triangular patches have been demonstrated to have broadband characteristics. An aperture-coupled dual-patch circular disk microstrip antenna with offsetting is investigated experimentally. A 2:1 SWR bandwidth of approximately 37% is obtained. The radiation patterns and gain of the antenna are determined.
