Abstract

We report the first Brillouin photonics engine in the thin-film lithium niobate platform. We demonstrate the first stimulated Brillouin laser in this platform. Moreover, we demonstrate the first Brillouin-based microwave photonics processor with versatile functionalities, including notch filters, bandpass filters, and true time delay. © Optica Publishing Group 2025 © 2024 The Author(s).
