REMOTE SENSING APPLICATIONS IN MULTIDISCIPLINARYURBAN PLANNING: A Case Study of Qualitative and Quantitative Approaches

Abstract

This paper introduces a methodology of integrating remote sensing environmental investigations in urban greenery and urban heat island effect. It provides scientific planning supporting information through both qualitative and quantitative approaches. A case study demonstrates the implementation in a multidiscipline planning practice.
