Abstract
A new multi-modal biometrics recognition approach for the small sample size problem is presented. Gaborface and Gaborpalm images at the pixel level are combined, and the fused images are classified using a DCV plus RBF feature classification method. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach. © The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2006.
