Abstract

After sagittal transaction of the optic chiasm, a human can still recognize the depth of an object briefly exposed in front of his fixation point, even though its images fall upon temporal retina in both eyes and therefore project separately to the two hemispheres. There might be an interhemispheric link for binocular integration in central vision. © 1970.
