Abstract

'Big Dada / Public Faces' is featured in the exhibition, "Tell All The Truth But Tell It Slant", curated by Camilla Colombo, at Face B, Brussels, Belgium. Comprised of a series of synthetic media artworks featuring AI-synthesized personas of Marcel Duchamp, Marina Abramović, Mark Zuckerberg, Kim Kardashian, Morgan Freeman and Donald Trump. Big Dada was inserted into Instagram as a digital intervention and quickly went viral, leading to global press coverage and contradictory responses from Facebook and Instagram concerning their lack of policies for synthetic media on their platforms.
