Abstract

Atomic-plane resolved (APR) electron magnetic circular dichroism (EMCD) in a ferrimagnetic Sr2FeMoO6 based on the groundbreaking combination of spatially resolved electron energy loss spectroscopy technique with chromatic/spherical aberration correction. With the spatial resolution up to atomic scale, EMCD enables us to study local magnetic properties of individual defects. Direct measurement of local magnetic coupling at individual antiphase boundary was achieved, reduction in Fe and Ni EMCD signal is experimentally observed. © 2023 IEEE.
