Abstract

A novel dualband circularly polarized antenna is proposed with each band in a broadband operation. The dual-band double annular slot antenna is used as the radiator. The dual-band Branch Line Couplers (BLC), which is obtained by replacing the λ/4 Right-Handed Transmission Lines (RHTL) in a conventional BLC with the λ/4 Composite Right/Left Handed Transmission lines (CRLH TLs), is employed to feed the dual-band radiator. The design has been simulated by IE3D and ADS. © 2005 IEEE.
