Abstract
The cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous, urinary, hepatic, endocrine, and gastrointestinal systems may be affected by sedatives and anesthetics, and by disease. This chapter highlights the unique features of feline anatomy and physiology and describes the effects of sedatives, analgesics, and anesthetics on these major body systems. © 2018 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
