Abstract
There are tremendous numbers of online merchants available nowadays selling products ranging from grocery to automobile. It is difficult for online shoppers to make sensible buying decision depends only on the first generation, yahoo-type search engines that provide only URLs of shops. Instead, Virtual Shopping Agent (VSA) is designed and implemented to collect, process and classify product information from different online merchants such that online shoppers can have a single point of entry to massive shopping information in an elegantly organized and searchable manner. Ultimately, fast comparison-shopping and better purchasing decision can be made.
