Abstract
Several chaos-based digital communication schemes have been proposed in recent years. Unlike conventional modulation systems where analytical bit error rates (BERs) can be found given a certain bit-energy-to-noise-psd (Eb/No) ratio, BERs of chaos-based digital communication systems are mainly found from simulations or experiments. In this paper, we present an analytical method to derive the BER of coherent CSK and noncoherent DCSK modulation schemes with multiple users. A 3-user system has been simulated and the results are compared with the proposed analytical approach.
