Analysis of the Static Behaviors of Rolling Guideways

Research output: Chapters, Conference Papers, Creative and Literary WorksRGC 12 - Chapter in an edited book (Author)peer-review

Abstract

An analytical method of the static behaviors of rolling guideways is presented in this paper. The static stiffness of rolling guideways is analyzed with joint and elastic mechanics theories according to different working conditoins, which provides relevant parameters for the prediction of the general behaviors of a machine. Relevant programs have been developed as well. Finally, taking the linear ball and roller bearing units as examples, the calculated results are respectively tested, moreover, the analyzed result of ball bearing guideways is tested experimentally. The results proved the correctness of the analytical method and the reliability of the program.
