Abstract
In this paper, the max-min method is applied to the analysis of a strongly nonlinear oscillator. The natural frequency of the oscillator system can be obtained using concise and straight-forward calculation steps. Good agreement between the results from the proposed and other well-known approaches is reached. © Freund Publishing House Ltd.
