Abstract
A method for analysis and design of a fuzzy controller is developed for a class of fuzzy discrete-time systems. The method is based on a dynamical fuzzy state space model. It is shown that the closed-loop fuzzy system can be represented by a dynamical interval system, and thus the methods of stability analysis in uncertain linear system theory can be used to analyse the global stability of the closed-loop fuzzy system. Some examples are given to illustrate the application of the method. © 1995.
