Abstract
This paper proposes an M-ary chaoticsequence spread-spectrum modulation scheme. In this scheme, each block of chaotic sequence produced by a chaotic map undergoes a transformation before it is transmitted. Information is carried by the choice of transformation used. Both coherent and noncoherent implementations are considered. The performances of the systems are studied by computer simulations.
