Abstract

This paper investigates the redundancy allocation problem where the initial component reliability is not only imprecise characterized by interval data, but also deteriorates with the service time. To make the final decision insensitive to the variation of interval uncertainties, we resort to the Min-Max regret framework to formulate the robust counterpart. The final solution is insensitive to the variation of component reliability, on the average sense of the random uncertainties and time. © 2023 IEEE.
